Robson Walsh Chartered Surveyors has extensive experience in a wide range of projects, both as contract administrator and as project managers on a variety of residential and commercial buildings.
These projects have included repair, refurbishment and conversion with contract values ranging between £5,000 to £3.0 Million.
Our team has a practical knowledge of various building contracts, including partnering and design and build forms, as well as experience of client specific forms of contract and/or amendments to standard documents.
Robson Walsh realises that effective project management does not begin on site, but should begin as a proactive plan ‘off site’. Project management has evolved over the years in order to plan, coordinate and control the complex and diverse activities of modern residential and commercial projects.
As a practice, we have extensive experience of managing projects from inception to completion. Utilising our wealth of experience, Robson Walsh is able to foresee, predict and control many of the factors which have an adverse impact on the successful completion of a project.
Working closely with the Client, we develop the Specification which maps out the processes and actions required to successfully deliver the project.
Taking into account the client’s requirements and time constraints, we will advise on the best methods for contractual arrangements, tendering procedures and method of award.
We will identify and recommend contractors best suited for the form and scale of project, and will supervise the required tendering and contract award process.
In addition we will manage the construction process, monitor cost and progress, arrange meetings and reports to the client in the format which best meets their needs.
CDM Consultation
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 provides a framework for managing Health & Safety in construction. If you are about to alter or extend a building or structure, or are considering a new one or demolishing an existing one, then these regulations place a number of specific duties on you as a client.
Robson Walsh can provide CDM Consultation services to help advise clients about their statutory duties under the CDM 2015 Regulations, as well as acting as Principal Designers under the 2015 Regulations.
It is important that everyone is aware of their duties under the CDM 2015 Regulations. Robson Walsh can provide CDM Consultation services to help clients meet their legal obligations. This is important as failure to comply with the regulations is a criminal offence and duty holders can face prosecution.
