Robson Walsh LLP are retained Surveyors to both Genesis Housing Group and Notting Hill Housing Group and regularly undertake surveys and prepare reports relating to structural movement and fire/water damage to properties.

The bulk of this work is undertaken by Phil Robson, a Fellow of the RICS with over 30 years experience in this field.

With regard to structural damage caused by foundation movement, we are able to provide a full monitoring service inclusive of soil analysis, leading onto design of repair schemes.

EXAMPLES:

The majority of this work, subsidence damage in particular, is on a single property basis, but as structural movement in the London area is an ever increasing problem, particularly to older properties, the numbers are significant.

An identical project was carried out to two four storey Victorian houses in a conservation area, where the complete facades, including decorative stonework and brickwork, were carefully taken down and reconstructed. The scheme was managed by RW from initial inspection through to handover. Our services included negotiation of all costs and fees with Insurer’s Loss Adjusters.

With the cooperation of the tenants and careful liaison and professionalism, the works were carried out and successfully completed without the need to vacate the buildings.
